Virtual or in Person AppointmentYou can choose to meet with our provider either virtually or in person—whichever option works best for you. During the appointment, our provider will ask questions and observe your little one as they engage in play or other natural activities.
The evaluation process takes approximately 1 hour and includes the following four components:
- Review of the health questionnaire
- Completion of the autism assessment tool
- Standard behavioral observation
- Results discussion and feedback

Receive The ReportYou will receive the visit notes and a letter of medical necessity for required services within 7 business days.

What is the cost?
Insurance typically covers this service. However, if you need to make an immediate payment while you submit claims for insurance reimbursement later, the cost of the autism diagnostic test it could range from $600-$1200. Payment is expected in full at the time of your visit. Payments are processed securely through our Patient Portal. We accept credit cards, HSA, FSA, and Care Credit. An invoice will be provided for your records, which can be submitted to your insurance company for reimbursement.
Will I be seeing a real doctor?
Yes, BTS providers are board-certified and licensed professionals who can conduct onsite or virtual consultations for patients located in many states.
What ages do you accept?
We provide diagnostic services for children 12 months to 22 years old.
How do I log into the video call, and how long does it take?
For virtual appointments, you can join the video call using any tablet, laptop, or desktop. Once all required paperwork is completed, you will receive a link to your virtual appointment. The appointment typically takes 1 hour.
